Arguably the most recognised luxury brand out there thanks to fantastic marketing. Rolex was Founded in 1905 by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis in London, the company registered Rolex as the brand name of its watches in 1908 and became Rolex Watch Co. Ltd. in 1915. Rolex created the first waterproof wristwatch, the oyster in 1926 and boasts some of the most sort after wrist watches in the world – Such as The famous Submariner and racing inspired Daytona

In 1926 Rolex Founder Hans Wilsdorf created Tudor Watches. While Tudor is known for offering a more affordable luxury alternative to Rolex the brand has certainly stepped out of the rolex shadow. Tudor Supplied watches to the US Navy and French Marine Nationale and has since gone on to produce it’s own ‘in-house movements’ since 2016. Considered by some to be Rolex’s tougher relative Tudor continues to forge it’s own identify along with having a number of sought after models in it’s back catalogue.
