Seamaster History

The Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 is a vintage timepiece known for its distinctive design and its place in the Seamaster collection. The Seamaster was introduced in 1948 and was based on designs made for the British Royal Navy towards the end of World War 2. It is the longest running line still produced by Omega and contains 8 different sub-collections. The Seamaster collection features Professional diving watches, sports watches, not to mention where it all started for Fine Watch Club, classic vintage models. The Seamaster can be found housing a variety of complications from GMT to Chronograph functions.  

Cosmic 1970’s Style

The Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 was introduced in the 1970s as part of the Seamaster collection. This period marked a time of change in the watch industry, with brands experimenting with designs and embracing the era’s aesthetics. The Cosmic 2000 features a cushion-shaped case, which was characteristic of many watches from the 1970s. Our example finished in plated Gold with Champagne dial really pops.
