Fine Watch Club are pleased to offer this charming Rolex Air King 114210 Concentric Dial from 2009. Complete with original box and card and also benefits from a Rolex service carried out in 2018.
This particular Rolex Air King Concentric Dial 114210 key feature is its concentric dial with a sunburst silver outer ring and circular patterned centre. 5-minute graduations are also present along with applied orange Arabic numerals and a Rolex coronet at 12 – all of which offer a delightfully eye-catching appearance. Featuring the engine turned bezel this air-king is a lovely example of a model spanning nearly 70 years of continuous production. Whilst 34mm case diameter, this reference Air-King wears more like a 36mm, perhaps thanks to the engine turned bezel.
Aviation-Inspired Design and Precision
The Rolex Air-King was introduced in the 1940s and was part of Rolex’s “Air” series, which included models like the Air-Lion, Air-Giant, and the Air-Tiger. These watches were designed to honour the pilots of the British Royal Air Force (RAF) who fought in the Battle of Britain during World War II. The Air-King has undergone several updates and revisions over the years, with each iteration maintaining the watch’s aviation theme and commitment to precision.
