This elegant Omega Genève Automatic from 1971 is powered by the legendary Calibre 565, a robust in-house movement celebrated for its accuracy and durability.
The distinctive square-cushion case design (Ref. 162.0010) offers a contemporary presence while maintaining classic 1970s proportions — at around 31 mm across, it wears closer to a 34–35 mm round watch on the wrist.
The dial is beautifully preserved with applied gold baton hour markers and slim black hands, a perfect blend of understated luxury and everyday wearability. The date function adds practicality, and the clean lines make it ideal as a dress or office watch that slips effortlessly under a shirt cuff.
Omega ceased production of the Genève line by the early 1980s, making these pieces increasingly collectable. The combination of a high-grade Cal. 565 movement and the elegant case design makes this model a sound long-term investment for any vintage enthusiast.

This is a vintage Omega and not water-resistant — despite the “Seamaster/Genève” heritage, these models are not intended for water use. Minor signs of age commensurate with a 50-year-old piece are present, but overall condition is excellent.
The Omega Genève series has become one of the most undervalued vintage lines in the market. With its in-house movement and timeless design, this 1971 example offers both style and heritage at a fraction of the cost of modern Omega dress models.
