Here we have for sale a highly collectible Omega Speedmaster Marui reference 3511.70, produced as a limited edition exclusively for Marui (丸井) – a major Japanese department store and fashion retailer. Marui is a long-established Tokyo-based retail group known in Japan for collaborating with premium brands on store-exclusive limited editions that were never intended for export.

This particular Speedmaster was commissioned specifically for the Japanese domestic market, meaning these were sold only in Marui stores in Japan in very small numbers. As a result, examples like this are exceptionally rare in the UK and Europe, and most collectors here will never have seen one in the metal.

Omega has historically had a very strong collector following in Japan and was one of the few Swiss brands willing to produce retailer-specific limited runs, which is why collaborations like this exist. Rolex, for example, does not do this. Omega’s openness to Japan-only special editions is exactly what has created some of the most interesting and collectible Speedmaster variants on the market today.

Marui (often romanised as Marui or Marui Group) is a long-established Japanese department store / fashion retail chain, founded in Tokyo in the 1930s. Think of it as a high-end lifestyle retailer rather than just a watch shop – clothing, accessories, luxury goods, and select premium brands.
