Offered for sale via Fine Watch Club is this elegant 1962 Omega Seamaster Date Automatic, presented in a solid 18 carat yellow gold case and powered by the reliable Omega calibre 562 automatic movement.

This particular example benefits from having an Omega service carried out in April 2021, as confirmed by the Omega service card and paperwork. Since the service, the watch has been hardly worn, which explains its exceptionally clean and well-preserved appearance today.

The watch features a beautiful champagne dial with applied gold hour markers, along with a date display at 3 o’clock — a useful and practical feature that many collectors appreciate for everyday wear.

At 34mm, this is a classic vintage size that wears very nicely on the wrist. The watch is shown modelled on a 17.5cm wrist for reference and should suit most wrist sizes comfortably.

Another particularly nice detail is that the watch is fitted with its original Omega leather strap, which shows very little wear, along with a solid gold Omega buckle — something that is rarely seen and a great addition for collectors.
