Offered for sale via Fine Watch Club is this striking Omega Seamaster 1971 Automatic Date, powered by the highly respected Omega calibre 565 automatic movement.

This particular reference 166.067 is known among collectors for its “beefy lug” case design, which gives the watch a much stronger wrist presence than the official 35mm measurement might suggest. The chunky lugs and flowing case shape make it wear closer to a 37–38mm watch in appearance.

The watch features a professionally refurbished Tiffany blue dial, which gives this classic Seamaster a fresh, contemporary look while retaining its vintage charm. Combined with the polished steel case and baton hour markers, the result is a very eye-catching and stylish vintage Omega.

Powering the watch is the excellent Omega calibre 565 automatic movement, a robust and highly respected movement from Omega’s golden era. It also includes the date display at 3 o’clock, which many owners appreciate as a practical everyday function.
