A superb example of the highly versatile Omega Speedmaster Day-Date, reference 3520.50, presented with its original Omega box and International Warranty card.

What immediately sets this particular watch apart is the beautifully aged original black dial. The hour markers have developed a warm cream/golden patina over the years, creating a striking contrast against the deep black dial. It is exactly the sort of natural ageing that gives an older Speedmaster its individual character – no two examples age in quite the same way.

The 3520.50 is sometimes overlooked alongside the larger Moonwatch, but it is arguably one of the most usable Speedmasters Omega produced. At approximately 39mm, it has classic proportions and sits exceptionally well on the wrist, while its automatic movement makes it an easy watch to wear every day.

Powered by the Omega Calibre 1151 automatic movement, the watch combines traditional Speedmaster chronograph styling with an impressive array of complications.

Condition

The stainless-steel case presents in excellent overall condition, retaining strong lines and a very attractive finish.

The black tachymetre bezel is similarly well preserved and provides the familiar sporting appearance associated with the Speedmaster collection.

It is fitted to its original Omega stainless-steel bracelet with signed Omega clasp, which also presents extremely well.

Most importantly, we have deliberately highlighted rather than disguised the ageing of the dial. The warm patina across the hour markers gives this example considerably more vintage character than a pristine modern-looking example.
