A superb and increasingly difficult-to-find vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic, dating to approximately 1968 and offered as a rare full set with its original Omega box and guarantee paperwork.

Reference 166.010, this handsome Seamaster features a stainless-steel case measuring approximately 35mm excluding the crown. The beautifully preserved silver sunburst dial is finished with applied baton hour markers, polished hands, a framed date window at 3 o’clock and the classic signed Seamaster script.

This Omega Seamaster 1968 remains in excellent vintage condition and, importantly, is presented in its all-original configuration, including the highly desirable Omega stainless-steel beads-of-rice bracelet and signed Omega clasp. These bracelets are exceptionally comfortable and have become increasingly collectable in their own right.

Powering the watch is Omega’s renowned calibre 565 automatic movement, with movement serial number 27,578,933, placing production at around 1968. The calibre 565 is widely regarded as one of Omega’s finest vintage automatic movements, offering excellent reliability, smooth operation and a practical quick-set date function.

The stainless-steel case retains its original Omega Seamaster hippocampus case back, while the inside case is correctly signed and numbered 166.010.

This watch has been fully tested and is running beautifully. It is supplied with a 12-month Fine Watch Club warranty for added peace of mind.
