A superb example of a classic 1950s Omega Seamaster, powered by the ever-reliable manual wind Calibre 420 — one of Omega’s finest hand-wound movements from the golden era of watchmaking.
This is exactly what you want in a vintage piece: original dial, sharp case, and a clean, honest movement. No over-restoration, no shortcuts — just a proper watch.
The dial is particularly attractive — best described as a warm metallic champagne-grey tone, with subtle ageing that gives it real character without distraction. These original finishes are getting harder to find by the year.
A very honest example throughout.
The Calibre 420 is part of Omega’s golden-era engineering — simple, robust, and built to last. These hand-wound Seamasters offer a purer experience than later automatics and represent outstanding value in today’s vintage market.
Finding one with an original dial in this condition is becoming increasingly difficult. Most have been refinished — this hasn’t.
Modelled on a 17.5cm wrist — a classic 34mm that still holds presence thanks to its clean dial layout and strong lugs. Works equally well as a dress piece or everyday vintage.
This is vintage Omega done properly. No gimmicks, no fluff — just a rare, honest Seamaster with real character.
These are getting harder to source in original condition, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
