A superb example of a 1960s Omega Seamaster, featuring the ever-reliable calibre 565 automatic movement and a striking refurbished green dial that completely transforms the watch into something a bit different from the usual champagne or silver offerings.
This is one of those slightly confusing crossover pieces often seen in the late 60s where Omega used both “Seamaster” and “Genève” branding. In simple terms, Genève became a sub-line as Omega expanded production, but mechanically and build-quality-wise, you’re still getting the same golden-era Omega engineering.
The calibre 565 is widely regarded as one of Omega’s best ever automatic movements from the 1960s — robust, accurate, and practical with its quickset date function (not always a given in watches of this era).
The green dial gives this piece a modern edge while retaining all the charm of a true vintage Seamaster. If you’re after something slightly different without stepping into modern territory, this ticks the box.
Excellent vintage condition overall.
The case remains strong, and the watch presents extremely well on the wrist.
Dial has been professionally refinished.
We’ve been dealing in vintage watches for years — and we only sell pieces we’d happily wear ourselves.
