A classic, no-nonsense Omega that always delivers. This is the Speedmaster Date / Reduced 38mm, running the tried-and-tested Calibre 1164 (Omega-finished ETA 7750). A proper workhorse with COSC chronometer certification and enough presence on the wrist without being overbearing.

The Speedmaster Reduced was Omega’s answer for people who loved the Speedmaster heritage but wanted something more wearable day-to-day. Launched in the late 1980s and running through the 2000s, it kept the classic Speedmaster DNA — tri-compax layout, tachymeter bezel, and clean tool-watch spirit — but in a smaller, more practical 38mm case.

Unlike the manually-wound Moonwatch, the Reduced line is automatic, powered by a robust movement derived from the ETA 7750 family (in this case the Omega Calibre 1164). That gives you modern reliability, proper winding convenience and chronometer-grade accuracy on this reference.

This example is a genuine full set, which is getting harder to find.
