The Wittnauer 8007 EPSA Super-Compressor isn’t just a watch. It’s a tribute to diving, encapsulating the spirit of underwater exploration. Featuring dual-crowns with the familiar cross-hatching pattern and a rotating inner bezel. This Wittnauer 8007 EPSA Super-Compressor is certainly ready for anything.

Super-Compressor Watch Case

EPSA is perhaps best known for its development of the “Super-Compressor” watch case in the 1950s. This innovative design featured a two-crown system that improved water resistance as the watch descended to greater depths. As the pressure increased, the case became more watertight, making it ideal for diving watches. Many watch brands, at least 48, including Longines, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Hamilton, used Super-Compressor cases for their dive watches.
